Output shaft: Removal - Refitting

JAX, and JA3 – JHX, and JH3

Remove:

- the second gear sprocket (9)

- the splined washer (10) .

Remove:

- the lock ring (11) and fit a new one in every case,

- the first/second gear selector rod hub (12) .

- the first gear sprocket (13) .

REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to remove.

Oil the synchroniser rings.

Note:

The lock rings must be systematically replaced.

WARNING

Make sure that the notches on the double cone

synchroniser are correctly positioned.
